What is GEO (or AEO)?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) are the set of practices that get your brand cited and recommended by AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode. It’s the SEO of the answer era: instead of competing for clicks in a list of links, you compete for space inside the answer.
Do I need to install anything on my site?
No. Georgye monitors AI answers from the outside, with no code on your site. Connecting Google Analytics is optional and lets you cross-reference citations with the traffic coming from AI platforms.
How often is the data updated?
It depends on the plan: weekly on Essential, as often as every 3 days on Professional and daily on Agency. Each collection keeps the full answers, and the dashboard shows every number with its margin of error.
What’s the difference between brand visibility and source visibility?
Brand visibility measures how many answers your company’s name appears in. Source visibility measures how often pages from your domain (or pages that talk about you) are used as references by AI. A brand can be cited without its site being a source — and vice versa.
Can I segment by model, region and topic?
Yes. Every metric can be filtered by AI model, by prompt topic and by geography, including state and city.
